TARABELLA ADVERSA

“ I believe that murals are a way to connect people and communities and that they can completely change someone’s day by either a message or represent something powerful. Right now it’s kind of like a modern day renaissance and I love being apart of such a larger than life movement.”

Tarabella is a mural artist based in Nashville, TN. She started painting at a young age and over the years her style and skill set continued to evolve along with the size of her art. Whether it’s one of her unique freehand designs or a collaboration her signature work pops on any wall she touches. Tarabella’s mural career started in early 2018 at Walden Bar in East Nashville. With a popular response, her work has been requested from local restaurants, and breweries, to residential areas and a large variety of establishments all over the south looking to make a beautiful statement. Her work is sprinkled all over this city but she hopes to make her mark all over the world.

KARLA DEAL

Karla cultivated her love for working with copper over the past 10 years. She developed art pieces out of aged copper in the shape of guitars, banjos, and music notes, which was right up Nashville’s alley. Her copper guitars and banjos were first shown and sold at the Harpeth Art Gallery and became wildly popular with gallery goers. Even the governor’s wife, a patron of the gallery, became a fan of the guitars and asked Karla to create custom ornaments for their Christmas tree at the Governor’s Mansion. Paul LeQuire & Co. in Green Hills began carrying Karla’s copper art. As her work developed, her copper became more about the patina colors she achieved and less about the shapes. Through gallery exposure, Karla began getting requests for custom pieces. She’s always up for the challenge to produce something beautiful and unexpected! And she gets a little help from her poodle sidekick, Maverick.
